吉林出版集团以“引领阅读、分享阅读”为己任。主题出版方面，出版了《铁证如山》《时代楷模黄大年》《卧底医生》《银幕里的中国——40周年，电影中的改革开放故事》等符合当下时代潮流的主题出版物。文学出版、少儿出版方面，出版了以曹文轩精品集、动物小说大王沈石溪·经典书系、黑鹤自然之歌系列、幻想语文大战系列等为代表的一系列图文并茂的精品图书，形成了近百种名家类图书产品群。这些图书经过几年的精心培育，得到了广大读者的充分认可，并获得了良好的市场反响。自2006年以来，有百余种图书先后获得各项国家和省级奖励。

公司自成立以来，一直积极致力于版贸工作，以习近平总书记提出的“一带一路”倡议作为版贸工作的指导方向，通过版权输出、成品出口等方式，讲好中国故事，展现中国形象。

    公司已与世界著名出版机构英国常春藤出版社、法国伽利马出版社等国际著名出版机构建立了良好的合作关系，出版了《发现之旅》等精品版权引进图书，为进一步发展奠定了良好的基础。

我们出版的图书也深受国外出版单位的青睐，我们出版的《铁证如山》《旗驼》和《水床垫的熊》等208种图书版权已经输出到美国、加拿大、韩国、日本等超过12个国家和地区，其中29种图书先后7次获得国家“输出版优秀图书奖”，35种图书获得“丝路书香”“经典中国”等国家级翻译资助，输出版图书得到广泛认可。
