四川科学技术出版社有限公司成立于1982年，是一家综合性的地方科技出版社。2008年11月，正式并入新华文轩出版传媒股份有限公司。

四川科学技术出版社有限公司设有理工、农业、医药卫生、科普等编辑部及《大自然探索》（国家百种重点期刊）、《西部特种设备》两个刊物及副牌华科音像出版社。建社三十余年来，川科社始终坚持“弘扬科学精神，助推科技发展，普及科学知识，传承传统文化”的办社宗旨，坚持走专、精、特发展之路，注重品牌建设，打造了中医中药、科技学术、科普科幻、大众生活等特色板块，共出版图书近9000种，有600余种图书先后获得中国图书奖、中华优秀出版物奖、“三个一百”原创图书出版工程奖、中国出版政府奖提名奖、“中国好书”提名、全国优秀科技图书奖、全球华语科幻星云奖、全国优秀畅销书奖、全国青少年最喜爱的读物奖、全国服务“三农”优秀图书奖、年度科普图书奖等奖项，川科社被评为“全国科普工作先进集体”“四川省科普工作先进集体”，为我国的科技进步和西部大开发，尤其是地方经济建设做出了贡献。

Sichuan Publishing House of Science & Technology Co., Ltd., a comprehensive local sci-tech press in China, was established in 1982. In November 2008, it was incorporated into Xinhua Winshare Publishing and Media Co., Ltd.

We have editorial departments of Science and Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine and Health, Popular Science, etc. Moreover, we operate two sci-tech magazines of Discovery of Nature (one of a hundred key journals of China National Periodical Award) and Western Special Equipment, as well as a sub-brand "Huake Audiovisual Publishing House". For over 30 years, weinsist on the expert, perfect and special road of development, and focus on brand building, creating several unique sections, namely, Chinese Medicine, Popular Science and Science Fiction, Public Life, etc. We have published nearly 9 000 kinds of books, among which over 600 kinds have successively won China Book Prize, Chinese Best Publications Award, “Three One Hundred” Original Book Publishing Project, Chinese Government Award Nomination, Nomination of “Good Books of China”, National Outstanding Book Award of Science and Technology, Global Chinese Sci-Fi Nebula Gold Award, National Award for Bestseller, National Youth Favorite Books, and National Excellent Books for Serving “Agriculture, Rural Areas and Farmers”, Annual Popular Science Book Award, etc,; in addition, it has been awarded as the “Advanced Collective of National Scientific Popularization” and the “Advanced Collective of Sichuan Province Scientific Popularization”, making great contributions to China’s technological progress and Western Development, especially to the local economic construction.
