四川少年儿童出版社建社于1980年10月，共出版少儿读物逾万种，有800多种图书先后荣获中宣部精神文明建设“五个一工程奖”、国家图书奖特别奖、中国图书奖等奖项，曾连续三次被国家新闻出版署授予“良好出版社”称号。

近年来，川少社坚持“品牌立社”，明确出版定位，以主旋律图书为旗帜，以精品童书为主干，以畅销书为先导，以长销书打基础。形成以超级畅销书《米小圈上学记》为旗帜，动漫、科普、低幼益智板块齐头并进的产品格局，出版影响力连年大幅提升。

Sichuan Children's Publishing House was established in October 1980, during which it published more than ten thousand kinds of children's books. It has been awarded the title of "Best publishing house" by the China National Press and Publication Administration for three consecutive times and has been rated as "The key enterprise of national cultural export" for three consecutive times.
