Sichuan Literature & Art Publishing House Co., Ltd. was founded in 1984. During the last three decades, we have published more than 4,000 titles (over 2 billion copies) in total, including classical and contemporary Chinese literature works, foreign literature works, children’s book, young adult book, art, history, social sciences, etc.

We have cooperated with many significant Chinese writers, such as Ba Jin, A-Lai, Wang Meng, Chen Zhongshi, Feng Jicai, Han Shaogong, etc. In the past few years, we have also published works of young writers who rose in the new century and some of their works have become the bestsellers in China. At the same time, our publishing house has grown and developed by partnering with outstanding foreign writers such as Tomas Transtromer (the winner of Noble Prize in Literature), Patrick Lapeyre (the winner of Prix Fémina), Roberto Arlt, George Bataille, Luis Cernuda, Adam Mickiewicz, Yukio Mishima, etc.
