As one of the earliest professional music publishing agencies in China, Shanghai Music Publishing House has launched more than 3,000 kinds of audio-visual, electronic, and digital publications, as well as nearly 10,000 kinds of books, with total assets of 230 million Yuan and annual sales of 246 million Yuan in the past 65 years. It has been topping the list in the national music book publishing market for years, becoming a veritable leading role in Chinese music publishing. Taking “pursuing superiority (S), grasping the market (M), serving the public (P) and sticking to honesty (H)” as the core value and with the guiding ideology of “innovation-driven, innovative development” and the publishing tenet of “Enrich cultural taste and Meet market demand”, SMPH has been actively seeking the digital transformation, upgrading, and integrated development in the age of the Internet.
