Porcelain is one of the best embodiments of human imagination and creativity. 作者简介 About the Author

陈克伦，上海博物馆研究馆员，兼任上海交通大学博物馆馆长，复旦大学兼职教授，国家文物鉴定委员会委员，中国古陶瓷学会副会长。1982年厦门大学考古学专业本科毕业后在浙江博物馆从事文物研究。2000-2015年担任上海博物馆副馆长。陈克伦在文物学、考古学和博物馆学有系统研究，发表、出版的近百篇（部）学术论著涉及考古、历史、文化及博物馆学理论与实践等诸多领域。在越窑、龙泉窑青瓷、宋代名窑瓷器、元代青花瓷及明清景德镇瓷器和瓷业发展等方面有较深研究，并提出新的材料和观点，在国内外学术界、博物馆界有较高的声望。长期在复旦大学、上海交通大学教授文物学和博物馆学等方面的课程，培养的学生中不少人已经成为中国重要博物馆的馆长。2005年起应邀担任美国洛杉矶宝尔博物馆（Bowers Museum）名誉馆长。

1998年9月，法国总统希拉克在巴黎爱丽舍宫授予陈克伦 “法兰西国家功勋骑士勋章”，以表彰其为文物研究、中国博物馆事业发展及中法文化交流作出的卓越贡献。2012年获得中国国务院颁发的“为文化艺术事业做出突出贡献证书”。2015年获美国上海博物馆之友“卓越学者奖”。

Chen Kelun is a researcher at the Shanghai Museum, curator of the Shanghai Jiaotong University Museum, adjunct professor at Fudan University, member of the National Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee, and vice president of the Chinese Society of Ancient Ceramics. From 2000 to 2015, he served as the deputy curator of the Shanghai Museum. Systematic research on cultural relics, archaeology, and museology.
