The Journey to the West, themed on the frontier investigation from 1934 to 1941, which was the most brilliant in Zhuang Xueben's life, is divided into three volumes according to three main trips. In addition to many precious video materials, it contains a large number of diaries and investigation manuscripts, and arranges background notes of many place names and people's names, which can be used as a necessary book for Zhuang Xueben's research.

马晓峰，曾任四川美术出版社社长，四川省美术家协会副主席。

Ma Xiaofeng, former president of Sichuan Fine Arts Publishing House, vice chairman of Sichuan Artists Association

庄均，中国影像人类学的先驱、纪实摄影大师庄学本先生后人，主要研究方向为民族学、影视人类学。

Zhuang Jun is a descendant of Mr. Zhuang Xueben, a pioneer of Chinese video anthropology and a master of documentary

photography. His main research directions are ethnology and film and television anthropology.
