内容简介 Synopsis

本书通过东西方两位植物学家跨越百年、穿越时空的影像“重逢”，以1899年、2009年、2019年三次拍摄的275组新老照片的影像对比，直观而真实地展示了中国百年来的沧桑巨变，是一部以影像对比的形式，真实、立体展现中国西部在新中国成立以来，尤其是改革开放以来和西部大开发20余年来中国在生态文明建设和环境保护工作取得光辉成就的作品。

In this book, two botanists from the East and the West meet again in the way of photographs through time and space, and 275 sets of old and new photos taken in 1899, 2009 and 2019 are compared to show the changes of China in the past century. This is a real and three-dimensional presentation of western China’s glorious achievements in ecological civilization construction and environmental protection in the form of image comparison since the founding of New China, especially since the reform and opening up and the development of the western China in the past 20 years.

作者简介 About the Author

印开蒲是著名生态学家，中国科学院成都生物研究所研究员，曾担任四川省人民政府参事，四川省委省政府决策咨询委员会委员，多次荣获国家、部(省)级科技成果奖项，荣获国家环保总局、国家林业局、国土资源部、农业部联合授予“全国自然保护先进个人”等荣誉称号，1996年获四川省有突出贡献专家，1998年获国务院特殊津贴。先后获部省级科技成果二等奖3项，三等奖4项，获国家发明专利2项。

Yin Kaipu is a famous ecologist and researcher of Chengdu Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He once served as counselor of Sichuan Provincial People's Government and member of Decision-making Advisory Committee of Sichuan Provincial Party Committee. He has won national and provincial science and technology achievement awards for many times. He was awarded the honorary title of “National Nature Conservation Advanced Individual” jointly by the State Environmental Protection Administration, the State Forestry Administration, the Ministry of Land and Resources and the Ministry of Agriculture. In 1996, he was awarded the expert with outstanding contribution of Sichuan Province, and in 1998, he was awarded the special allowance of The State Council. He has won 3 second prizes and 4 third prizes of ministerial and provincial scientific and technological achievements and 2 national invention patents.
