这是一本全景式呈现大熊猫生存生活状态的大型画册，用记录片的手法记录了它的神秘身世，物种特征，分布规律，人类为保护、拯救、研究它的漫长经历，以及大熊猫走出国门、旅居世界各地与当地人民建立的深厚情谊。全书分为7个篇章：出版前言、远古的祥瑞神兽、共荣共生的乐园、保护与回归、交流与友谊、大熊猫纪事概览、后记，各篇章皆有主题叙述文本和配图文字相结合，以图文并茂的视觉，呈现大熊猫在各个重要时期的生存状态。全书相收录近300幅珍贵摄影图片，图片兼顾视觉性、艺术性、知识性、科普性、新闻性，全景展现大熊猫历经800万年，从时光深处走来，与人类渐行渐近、日益亲密、和谐共处的历程，旨在为读者还原一个真实的大熊猫世界：大熊猫是地球文明进程的一个镜像，透过它，我们能够窥探古老的地球奥秘，并更加珍惜当下的生态文明。

In June 2021, the elaborate picture album The Giant Panda of China published by Sichuan Fine Arts Publishing House, was officially released. The album records the mysterious background, species characteristics, distribution of giant pandas and the long history of human beings in protecting, saving and studying giant pandas, as well as the deep friendship the giant panda has built with the people around the world when it lives abroad. The book contains nearly 300 precious photographic pictures, each of which is a combination of visual effect, art, knowledge, popular science, and news, and displays a panorama of the history of giant pandas with eight million years, coming out of the depths of time and gradually approached human beings, getting to be intimate and harmoniously co-exist with the latter.

作者简介 About the Author

大熊猫文化全球推广大使、中国著名大熊猫摄影家——周孟棋先生30年坚持拍摄和记录大熊猫的最新力作。他之前的多部专著，早已被翻译成各种语言，输出到英国、意大利、德国、日本、法国等国家和地区，其摄影作品，也受邀先后赴瑞士、日本、美国、西班牙、法国、英国、德国、比利时、土耳其、澳大利亚、泰国、俄罗斯等国举办个展和巡展，受到世界各地民众的喜爱。

In August 2018, Mr. Zhou Mnegqi was awarded among the first “Global Promotion Ambassadors of Giant Panda Culture” by Sichuan Provincial People’s Government at “First China Giant Panda International Culture Week” held in Beijing. Since 2019, Zhou has launched a “Giant Panda and its Hometown” photo tour to call on those Chinese giant pandas who are now living in 19 other countries around the world, so far, he has only completed the tours in Australia, Japan, Thailand, Russia, etc. Due to the global impact of COVID-19.
